Part 12 and last of the complete Ghuzar guide.

1. What works on its own

  • One device: a new sign-in signs out the old one — if your account is opened on another phone, you are signed out immediately, and that is your warning.
  • Temporary lock: 5 wrong sign-in attempts ⇐ the account is locked for 15 minutes.
  • The session is permanent with no automatic logout — so if you sell your phone, sign out first (Settings ⇐ Sign out).
  • Your password is stored encrypted — nobody at Ghuzar can read it.

2. Forgot your password

  • From the app: sign-in screen ⇐ "Forgot password" ⇐ your email ⇐ a link valid for one hour opens a page on the website where you type the new one.
  • From the website: My account ⇐ "Forgot password?" — the same link.
  • The link works once. If it never arrives: check spam, or make sure the email is the one you signed up with.
That is why verifying your email (part 1) matters — it is your only way back.

3. If your account is stolen

  1. Change your password immediately (if you still can) — that signs out any other device.
  2. If you can't: technical support from Settings or contact us from the same registered email — the admins verify your identity manually and return the account to you.
  3. Check the wallet and withdrawal requests in the transaction log.

4. Sensitive actions

Adding a payment method or requesting a withdrawal asks for password confirmation even while signed in — if someone opens your phone they cannot withdraw your money.

5. Deleting your account

Settings ⇐ Delete account (or from the delete account page on the website). What happens:

  • Your personal data (name · email · photos · phone number) is actually erased.
  • Birds and posts are removed from view.
  • Financial records (transactions · invoices · purchases) are kept for accounting and legal reasons — without a name.
  • Deletion is final — no recovery. If you have money in the wallet, withdraw it first.

6. Privacy

What we collect and why is in the privacy policy, and cookies in the cookie policy.
