The website uses no advertising or tracking cookies and sells no data. This page says exactly what is stored in your browser and why.

1 · What is stored

Theme preference (light/dark): saved in your browser's local storage under the key ghz-theme when you press the theme button. It never leaves your device.
Technical cookies from the hosting provider: may be set so the site is served securely (attack protection and load balancing). They contain no identifying data about you.

2 · Analytics and error reports

If we use a visitor-measurement tool, it will be anonymous (no cookies and no device fingerprinting) and we will name it here. Error reports are sent to Sentry without personally identifying data so we can fix failures.

3 · Third-party content

Encyclopedia and bird images load from Cloudinary. Any embedded YouTube video loads from YouTube's cookie-free domain (youtube-nocookie). These parties may see your IP address as part of serving the file.

4 · Your control

You can clear local storage and cookies from your browser settings at any time — the site keeps working and returns to the default theme.
