Part 11 of the complete Ghuzar guide. The website, the app and the dashboard read from the same database — anything that changes in the app shows on the website immediately.
1. The encyclopedia
- Breeds: 260 breeds in a tree (the Egyptian Ghuzar and its branches · homers · fancy · utility …), each with photos, a description, the judging criteria with their weights and elite breeders.
- Compare two or three breeds: the "Add to compare" button on the breed page ⇐ the compare bar at the bottom ⇐ the comparison page side by side.
- Health: diseases · medications · vaccines · supplements — linked together (a disease shows its vaccines and medications).
2. Articles, glossary and video
- Articles by category + learning paths (ordered series like this guide).
- The glossary: 78+ terms from breeders' language with their Arabic and English meaning.
- The video hub with playlists, and the exhibitions archive.
3. Search
The search icon in the header: instant results as you type (breeds · diseases · medications · articles · terms · video), and a full search page. Search understands hamza and taa marbuta variants ("الابلق" = "الأبلق").
4. The market, auctions and competitions
The market, auctions and competitions are all browsable with full details (current price · time left · phases · results). Buying, bidding and registering happen in the app — the "Open in app" button opens the same screen if the app is installed.
5. QR pages
Any QR on Ghuzar opens a page on the website: the bird's card (/p/…) · the member's card (/u/…) · the transfer certificate · the verification page. The page reads from the server — so it is proof of authenticity.
6. Verified members
The members directory: every verified ✓ user with their name and governorate, and the elected governorate committees. Private accounts are not shown.
7. Your account on the website
My account: sign in by email or Google (a short 30-minute session that does not sign out the app) ⇐ your membership · your subscription status and its source · automatic renewal and cancellation · invoices (view · print · PDF) · your purchases · your store credits. "Forgot password" is on the same page.
8. Paying on the website
Subscriptions and the digital store through Paymob — part 8 has the details.
9. Language and theme
The English button in the header switches the whole site to English (/en), and the sun/moon button toggles light/dark and remembers your choice.
