Part 5 of the complete Ghuzar guide. The Ghuzar market is for physical goods: products, supplies and pigeons for direct sale. The wallet is what makes buying safe for both sides.

1. The wallet

Profile tab ⇐ Wallet. Two ways to top up:

  • Online via Paymob (card or e-wallet): credited immediately after payment.
  • Manual transfer (InstaPay/Vodafone Cash/bank to the Ghuzar accounts shown on the screen) ⇐ upload a photo of the receipt ⇐ the admins confirm and it is credited.

Every movement is in the transaction log with its time and reason.

2. Buying with escrow

  1. Market tab ⇐ the product ⇐ "Buy" ⇐ choose the delivery address (you can save more than one) and the shipping company the seller offers.
  2. The amount is held from your wallet in escrow — it does not go to the seller.
  3. The seller ships and updates the status, and you follow from My orders.
  4. When the order arrives: "Received" ⇐ the money is released to the seller (minus the platform commission). If you don't tap it, it is released automatically 48 hours after delivery.

If there is a problem: Dispute from the order page before release — the admins review the messages and photos and decide.

3. Returns

The seller marks each product "returnable" or not (you see it before buying). Returns are per item from the order page, and the amount goes back to the wallet after the seller accepts or the admins decide.

4. Discount codes

A "code" field on the checkout page — platform codes or the store's own coupons.

5. Withdrawing

Wallet ⇐ Withdraw: minimum 100 EGP, and you choose the account (InstaPay/bank) you saved under Payment methods. The admins transfer manually and confirm — you get a notification. Withdrawal fees depend on your plan.

6. What is not paid from the wallet?

Subscriptions, themes, verification, evaluation, the bird file and competition entry — these are digital goods paid through Google Play from the app or from the digital store on the website, not from the wallet (part 8).
