Ablaq Ahmar

A foundation colour of the Ablaq by the agreement of most keepers, with little dispute around it, though it has grown somewhat scarce — partly because it was crossed into other strains such as the Sokrota, and partly because keepers turned their attention to the hazel-shell and the green. Body entirely white but for the shoulders and cheeks, which are a dark red with no frosting. Olive iris and olive-green ring; pale wine eyelids; beak and nails pale honey.
