Part 10 of the complete Ghuzar guide. Stores appear in the app and on the website (stores) — with the official Ghuzar store pinned first.
1. Requirements
The seller dashboard screen shows you the requirements and the status of each:
- An active paid subscription (monthly or higher) — it grants you the merchant role automatically.
- Acceptance of the merchant policy document — 6 sections (commission and payouts · the relationship with the customer · conduct · violations …). The figures in it are live from the platform settings.
- Admin approval after the store is created.
2. Creating the store
Name · description · logo and cover · governorate · contact channels. After approval the store becomes active and appears in the market. The admins can suspend or close it with a written reason if there is a violation — and you see the reason in your dashboard.
3. Products
"New product": name · category (from the platform list) · price · stock · photos · returnable or not · description. Stock is deducted with every order and restored if the order is cancelled. You can link a "pigeon" product to a bird registered with you — the buyer sees its file.
4. Shipping
Seller dashboard ⇐ Shipping: add your companies (or hand delivery) and each one's price per governorate or a flat rate. The buyer chooses from what you set at order time — no unknown shipping.
5. Coupons
A coupon at your store's level: a percentage or an amount · a minimum order · a number of uses · an expiry date. Platform codes work alongside it.
6. Orders
Each order contains products from your store only (if the buyer bought from two stores, each store has its own order and its own escrow). Update the status: preparing ⇐ shipped ⇐ delivered. The money stays in escrow until the buyer confirms or 48 hours after delivery, then enters your wallet minus the platform commission (the rate depends on your plan — on subscriptions).
7. Reviews
The buyer rates the store and the seller separately after receiving, and can rate the product. Reply to reviews from your dashboard.
8. If the subscription expires
The store does not close: it stays visible, keeps receiving orders and you can ship them. What is locked is adding new products until you renew.
