فيروس يهاجم الخلايا الليمفاوية المسؤولة عن المناعة، ويُعرف أحيانًا باسم "إيدز الحمام" لأنه بيضعف الجهاز المناعي ويفتح الباب لعدوى ثانوية متكررة (تنفسية، كلاميديا، كانكر).

Symptoms

Dried yellow beak discharge, lethargy, thinness, dehydration, anorexia, breathing difficulty.

Causes

فيروس السيركو (Pigeon Circovirus)

Transmission

انتقال بين الطيور داخل القن، وخطر أكبر عند إدخال طيور من أقفاص مجهولة الحالة الصحية.

Diagnosis

الفحص التشريحي (تضخم وتلون الكبد، نزيف)، والفحص النسيجي للأنسجة الليمفاوية.

Treatment

No direct antiviral treatment; focus on treating/preventing secondary infections, isolate affected birds.

Prevention

Avoid introducing birds from unknown-health lofts, remove weak youngsters early, good daily hygiene.
