Moraqqa' Ahmar
المرقع الأحمر
مرقع أحمر

Counted the equal of the red Ghuzar with slight differences, and nonetheless preferred to the red by many keepers. It differs in three respects: white beak and nails rather than honey; a lighter shade of ruby in the eye ring; and a white wing shield of seven feathers in each wing, the count of which must match between the two wings. With age it may also develop the plaited arch feathering. In all else it follows the red.
