One of the oldest and largest meat breeds in the world, tracing back to Roman times. Adult weight 1000-1300 g. Long broad body, large head and heavy beak. Slow-moving and a poor flier, and less fertile than the King, so it is more often used to add size to other breeds than kept on its own.
