In the author's view the most beautiful form in the house. It comes in two shades, dark and light, differing in nothing but depth of colour. The body is silver frosted with grey over every part of the bird, including the belly and the underside of the tail (the samka), with a black skull cap and a silver neck that is heavy, fine-feathered and dense. Deep ruby eye ring.
